Hackers are planning to strike at Facebook* for being too curious about users’ personal lives.
Hacker group Anonymous announced its readiness to strike Facebook on Saturday, November 5.
In a video posted by Anonymous on YouTube, Facebook is accused of selling information to government agencies and providing personal data to security services. The latter, using the network, can allegedly spy on people from all over the world.
An explanation is also given for the “free” nature of the service. According to hackers, if the owners do not receive money from users, then they make money by selling personal data.
“Facebook knows more about you https://nonukonlinecasinos.uk/welsh-not-on-gamstop/ than your family,” says “Anonymous”.
The day before, the Irish Government published sensational data that Facebook collects information even on unregistered users. “Hidden profiles” created by the resource administration based on data obtained from the Internet contain very detailed information about a person.
Such profiles include data on marital status, education, place of work, political views, philosophical beliefs, religious affiliation and even sexual orientation. This conclusion was made by representatives of the Office of the Commissioners for the Protection of Personal Data and Privacy, which conducted an audit of Facebook Ireland.
NTV reminds: the hacker group Anonymous (“Anonymous”) is attacking the websites of companies that, in their opinion, act to the detriment of freedom on the Internet and in life. The payment systems Visa, Mastercard, which froze the accounts of Julian Assange, and PayPal, which refused to accept transfers addressed to Assange, have already suffered from their actions.
In addition, anonymous attackers attacked the resources of Egypt’s Ministry of Information, as well as the country’s ruling National Democratic Party, the hosting provider Amazon, the Swiss bank PostFinance, the website of the Swedish prosecutor’s office and the website of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
Despite the fact that the message about the intention of “Anonymous” to deal with Facebook was refuted, fans of the resource around the world froze in suspense on November 5.
